This late nineteenth-century building, with an architectural style typical of the Presqu’île district, was one of Lyon’s first hotels. Earning four stars in 1964, over the years it has welcomed celebrities such as Martin Luther King, Valery Giscard d’Estaing, the Duchess of Kent, Jean Marais, Jean Gabin and Edith Piaf.

Already present in Nice, the Italian group Boscolo has returned the building to its former splendour, bringing together Italian refinement and French classicism. The contemporary, refined and elegant interior design features marble, mirrors, fine fabrics and glass in this new 5-stars hotel.
