NEW HOTELS FOR YOUR GROUPS AND INDEPENDENT TRAVELLERS

2024 is a great year for four-star hotel accommodation!

Standing opposite Part-Dieu railway station, the Pullman**** hotel has 168 high-end rooms, 10 meeting rooms and the PAMPA restaurant for 250 diners, with a plant-filled interior and South American flavours.

On the plateau of Croix-Rousse, the Tribe**** hotel opened at the end of 2023, offering a warm and lively atmosphere, as well as comfortable rooms and a local experience with the finest produce from the surrounding area.

In the heart of Vieux-Lyon (Old Lyon), the hotel L'Académie**** offers 12 rooms (including 8 suites) for travellers in search of authentic charm. It is housed in a fifteenth-century building, typical of Old Lyon’s architectural style, featuring galleries and spiral staircases.

Perched on the hill of Croix-Rousse, the majestic Fort Saint-Laurent has looked out over the left bank of the Rhône since the nineteenth century. In spring 2024, this historic building with an incredible view will be welcoming a new four-star establishment with 36 rooms.

Also in 2024, 20 new hotels will be awarded environmental certifications, bringing the number of environmentally certified accommodation options in the Lyon metropolitan area to 41. They offer fantastic opportunities to create environmentally responsible stays for all budgets!

IDEAS FOR EATING OUT

In 2024, Lyon will be waving its flag as the capital of gastronomy higher than ever!

In the Confluence district, Gaëtan Gentil, starred chef of PRaiRial (one Michelin star), has expanded his restaurant to bring his creative, seasonal cuisine to up to 30 diners, seated on tables arranged around the central kitchen.

Did you know that Paul Bocuse’s famous restaurant is celebrating its centenary in 2024? Don’t miss this unique opportunity to have lunch or dinner in an iconic bastion of French gastronomy.
To celebrate Monsieur Paul’s Lyonnais heritage, make your way to the Paul Bocuse indoor food market to explore our finest artisanal food, or enjoy a generous meal in the warm atmosphere of one of Lyon’s Bocuse brasseries.

Who has never dreamt of dining as people did in the Middle Ages? Or reliving the atmosphere of a meal in the Années folles (1920s France)? This is the amazing concept created by Saveurs d’Histoire, which offers groups an immersive experience to discover dishes, customs and flavours from a historical period.
