Lyon - Saint-Exupery Airport Shuttle - Rhônexpress

To use Rhônexpress, you don't need to reserve your seat in advance; simply go to the boarding station of your choice where you can purchase your ticket from a ticket machine:

- Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport if you want to go to Lyon-Part-Dieu or the Presqu'île via Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie (Metro Line A)
- Lyon-Part-Dieu, Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie, or Meyzieu Z.I. if you want to go to the airport.

Tickets can also be purchased online at www.rhonexpress.fr. It's convenient, fast, and cheaper than at the station!

The Rhônexpress has three red and gray articulated sections offering 76 seats and two spaces reserved for wheelchairs, as well as phone and laptop outlets, flight information (delays, etc.), and air conditioning. The stations have lifts.

The T3 - Rhônexpress is operated by Véolia Transports.

PLEASE NOTE: From 15 July to 2 August: Rhônexpress service suspended from 4.25 am to midnight
Due to engineering works on the line, the Rhônexpress service will be operated by coaches between Part-Dieu and Gare-Aéroport Saint-Exupéry from 15 July to 2 August 2026 inclusive.
- Replacement coaches will operate between Part-Dieu and Saint-Exupéry via Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie.
- Services will run every 20 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes during off-peak hours

Meyzieu ZI station will not be served: bus route 47 will operate between Meyzieu ZI and Gare Aéroport Saint-Exupéry

Estimated journey times during the disruption periods:
- Part-Dieu <> Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie: ~35 minutes
- Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie <> Airport: ~30 minutes
- Total journey time Part-Dieu <> Airport via Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie: ~55 minutes, depending on traffic conditions

- Airport: Drop-off point at the station
- Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie (VLX): Shuttle bus parking area – behind Metro Station A
- Part-Dieu: Coach station, coach car park
