ART opened in 2022 at 3 rue Sala, in Lyon's 2nd arrondissement, born from the friendship of three partners whose initials it bears: Alexandre Tremblais, Ronan Lavillaugouet and Thibaut Sajot. The two chefs serve seasonal French cooking that is generous and approachable, open to influences from further afield, built around quality meat and fish. The house signature is Beef Wellington (French beef fillet, Colonnata lardo, Robuchon mash, homemade mustard, beef jus), also served Rossini-style with foie gras.

In the evening, Monday to Saturday, the tasting menu offers an amuse-bouche and six courses for €85 (wine pairing €60); à la carte dishes range from €16 to €40. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunchtimes, a starter, main and dessert menu is served for €39. Full bar and cocktails. ART can be booked privately for weddings, birthdays, christenings and corporate dinners: up to 32 guests seated and 50 for a cocktail reception, with a menu designed with the chef.

Rated 4.8/5 on Google by nearly 1,500 guests, ART is the sister restaurant of Astral, the fine dining restaurant on rue Royale. Open seven days a week. Metro Bellecour (lines A and D), a few minutes' walk away.
