Praline delights

François Pralus is one of the few artisan chocolate-makers in France to produce chocolate from bean to bar. He also perpetuates the recipe for Praluline®, a delicious brioche with pink pralines that has become the region's gourmet emblem.

Praluline

In the shop, you'll find bars made from 15 different origins of beans and its signature chocolates, including the Barres Infernales.

Pralus was born in Roanne, where Auguste Pralus opened a patisserie in 1948. In 1955, he created the famous Praluline®, a brioche with pink pralines that quickly became the town's speciality. That same year, he was awarded the prestigious title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France pâtissier chocolatier.
