Richard Sève is a master chocolatier, ranked among the best in France. He is a chocolate alchemist and an expert in French sweet refinements. You'll also find genuine praline tarts.
Richard Sève was born in Lyon in 1968. At the end of secondary school, he began an apprenticeship in a well-known Lyon pastry shop. After graduating top of his class, he went on to work for some of the region's leading names. In 1991, he obtained his master's diploma and the title of Maître Chocolatier-pâtissier. In 2010 & 2011, he was awarded the title of one of France's best chocolatiers in Paris.
Gaëlle was born in Lyon in 1970. She was a student at the Beaux-Arts in Saint-Etienne when she met Richard SEVE. She then trained in sales and packaging techniques in a major Lyon pastry shop. In 2011, she joins EM LYON to prepare a specialized AMP master's degree in business strategy and development.
In 1991, the two decided to join forces to buy a pastry and chocolate shop in Lyon - Champagne-au-Mont-d'Or, a quality business established since 1905. Until then, the company had demonstrated its expertise with original products such as La véritable tarte aux pralines rouges de Lyon.
