Created in 1953 by Maurice Bernachon, the three generations of chocolate makers have an exceptional flavor, thanks to the daily roasting of cocoa beans, selected from among the most noble.
The story began in 1953, when Maurice Bernachon set himself the ambition of processing raw cocoa beans into chocolate.
Passion, Exigence, Tradition and Excellence. From 1953 to the present day, with know-how intact and the passion of chocolate-makers more alive than ever.
Following in the footsteps of Jean-Jacques Bernachon, today the 3rd generation, made up of Philippe Bernachon and his sisters, Stéphanie and Candice, perpetuate this unique expertise, true to the values they have always upheld: ‘Passion, Exigence, Tradition and Excellence’.
Bernachon chocolates have an exceptional and unique taste: an original and subtle blend of 10 varieties of cocoa beans selected from all over the world: Java-Indonesia, Rio Caribe-Venezuela, Puerto Cabello-Venezuela, Peru, Jamaica, Madagascar...
They are made from cocoa beans using the Bean-to-Bar process in the workshops of the Lyon chocolate factory.
For 70 years, Bernachon chocolates have been made by hand from natural products, without colouring or preservatives, whose taste evolves over time.
